Can the assistant tell me what my rash is?

No. This assistant does not give medical advice or opinions on symptoms, photos or medication. It answers questions about prices, timings, preparation and insurance, and it books appointments. Anything clinical is for the dermatologist to assess in person.

What does a consultation cost?

A first dermatology consultation is AED 450 and lasts 30 minutes. A follow-up within eight weeks on the same complaint is AED 250. A full-body mole check with dermoscopy is AED 600 and takes 45 minutes. Prescriptions issued during the visit are included in the fee.

Do you take insurance?

We direct bill Daman, AXA, Oman Insurance, MetLife and Now Health for medical dermatology such as acne, eczema, psoriasis and skin lesions. Bring your card and Emirates ID and we run eligibility before you are seen. Cosmetic and aesthetic treatments are not covered by any insurer and are self-pay.

What are your prices for aesthetic treatments?

Chemical peel is AED 550 per session, microneedling with growth factors AED 850, hydrafacial AED 600, and fractional CO2 resurfacing AED 1,900 per face session. Laser hair removal starts at AED 300 for a small area such as the upper lip and AED 950 for full legs. Injectables are quoted at consultation because dosing varies.

Do you sell treatment packages?

Yes, for courses that genuinely need several sessions. Six laser hair removal sessions are priced as five, a course of six peels is AED 2,750 instead of AED 3,300, and four microneedling sessions are AED 2,900. Packages are valid twelve months, are transferable to a family member, and unused sessions are refundable at the single-session rate.

How soon can I be seen?

General dermatology slots are usually available within two to three days, and we hold two urgent slots each morning for acute problems such as a spreading rash or a severe reaction. Dr. Kassab's own list runs about a week ahead. Evening appointments up to 8:00pm run Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

How should I prepare for my appointment?

Come with the affected area free of makeup or ointment, bring any creams and tablets you have been using including anything bought without prescription, and bring photos if the problem comes and goes. For a mole check wear no nail polish and no fake tan. Laser patients should shave the area the day before and avoid sun exposure for two weeks.

What is your cancellation policy?

Please give us at least four hours' notice and there is no charge. Cancellations inside four hours or a missed appointment are charged AED 150, and prepaid package sessions are deducted. You can reschedule yourself through the confirmation link in your SMS at any time.

Do you see children?

Yes, we see children from the age of two for conditions such as eczema, warts, birthmarks and paediatric acne, and the consultation fee is the same AED 450. A parent or legal guardian must attend the whole appointment. Laser and injectable treatments are not offered under 18 in any circumstance.
