What happens at a first consultation?

You meet a consultant for 45 minutes to talk through your history, any previous treatment and what you would like to understand next. Nothing is decided on the day. You leave with a written summary of the tests the consultant suggests and what each one costs, and you take as long as you need before deciding anything.

How much is the first appointment?

The initial consultation is AED 750 for a couple or an individual, and a follow-up review of results is AED 450. If you go on to start a treatment cycle with us within ninety days, the initial consultation fee is credited against the cycle. We tell you the price of every test before it is booked.

What does a full IVF cycle cost?

A standard IVF cycle at Meraki is AED 22,000 to AED 28,000, which covers monitoring scans, egg collection, laboratory work and one fresh transfer. Medication is billed separately and usually falls between AED 6,000 and AED 12,000 depending on the protocol your consultant recommends. ICSI adds AED 3,500 and embryo freezing with one year of storage is AED 4,500.

Can you tell me my chances of success?

No, and I would not try to. Outcomes depend on clinical factors that only your consultant can assess after examining your history and test results, and no clinic can promise a result. What I can do is book you time with a consultant who will discuss your individual situation openly, including the possibility that treatment may not work.

Will you answer medical questions in this chat?

I am not able to give medical advice, interpret a test result or comment on medication. I handle the practical side: appointment times, what to bring, costs, documents and how the clinic works. Anything clinical is written down and passed to the nursing team, who will call you back within one working day.

Is IVF legal in the UAE and what paperwork do I need?

Yes, assisted reproduction is regulated and permitted for married couples under UAE federal law. You will need original passports with residence visas, Emirates ID for both partners and an attested marriage certificate. Bring the originals to the first visit so our administration team can verify and copy them; we cannot begin a treatment cycle without them.

Do you work with insurance?

Consultations and diagnostic tests are covered by several UAE plans including Daman Enhanced, AXA and Cigna, subject to your policy. IVF cycles are covered only under a small number of employer schemes. Send us your card and policy number in chat and our insurance desk will confirm your eligibility in writing, usually within two working days.

How quickly can I be seen, and can I book for my partner too?

New consultations are usually available within five to seven days, and we hold two slots each Saturday morning for people who cannot take weekday leave. Booking one appointment covers both partners, so please attend together when possible since the consultant will want to review both histories.

How do you protect my privacy?

Records are held in an encrypted system accessible only to your care team, and our reception never states the reason for a visit aloud. We will not contact you at a work number unless you ask us to, and you can tell us in chat which number and name to use. Discreet parking is available in the basement with direct lift access to our floor.
