How far ahead should I book?

Weeknights we can usually seat you the same day, but Thursday to Saturday evenings fill three to four days ahead, and the terrace goes first between October and April. Public holidays and Ramadan iftar need at least a week. Tell me your date and party size in chat and I will show you what is actually open.

What are your opening hours?

We serve lunch Monday to Friday from 12:00 to 3:30pm and dinner every night from 6:00pm, with the last table seated at 11:00pm on weekdays and 11:30pm on Friday and Saturday. Weekend brunch runs Saturday and Sunday 12:00 to 4:00pm. The kitchen closes 30 minutes after the last seating.

Do you take large groups?

Yes, up to 14 guests on the main floor and up to 24 in the private majlis room. Groups of 10 or more order from a set family-style menu at AED 195 or AED 260 per person, and we ask for a card to hold the booking. Give me the headcount and date and I will check the room for you.

What happens if I do not turn up?

Tables of six or fewer carry no deposit, but we release the table 20 minutes after the reserved time if we have not heard from you. Groups of seven or more are held with a card and a no-show or a cancellation inside 24 hours is charged AED 100 per seat. A quick message in chat to cancel or shift the time always avoids the fee.

Where do we park?

There are 18 valet spaces at the entrance on Jumeirah Beach Road, priced at AED 30, and free RTA street parking on the side road behind the restaurant which is unpaid after 9:00pm and all day Sunday. We are a seven-minute walk from Jumeirah Public Beach if you are coming on foot.

Can you handle allergies and dietary needs?

The kitchen is fully halal and around two thirds of the mezze menu is vegan as written. We can plate gluten-free and nut-free versions of most dishes with notice, though our bread, kibbeh and baklava all contain gluten and we cannot promise a nut-free fryer. Flag the allergy when you book so the head chef sees it before service.

Is there a dress code or a minimum spend?

Smart casual — no beachwear or flip flops after 7:00pm. There is no minimum spend for standard tables. The private majlis room carries a AED 3,500 minimum spend on Thursday to Saturday evenings and AED 2,000 on other nights, with the food and drink you order counting towards it.

Do you do birthdays and set menus?

We do. Tell me in chat and we bring out a plated dessert with a candle at no charge. Cakes brought from outside are welcome with a AED 60 cutting charge. Set menus start at AED 195 per person for the mezze feast and AED 260 for the charcoal grill selection, both including bread, salads and dessert.

Can I change or cancel my booking through chat?

Yes — send me your name and the date and I will move, resize or cancel the reservation straight away, day or night. You will get a confirmation message each time. For same-evening changes inside 90 minutes of your slot, please call +971 4 344 8170 so the floor manager sees it immediately.
