How much will my tattoo cost?

We charge AED 700 per hour with a studio minimum of AED 450 for anything small. A booked half day of four hours is AED 2,400 and a full day of seven hours is AED 3,900, which works out cheaper than hourly. Send a reference image and rough size in chat and I will give you a realistic sitting estimate.

Do I have to pay a deposit?

Yes, AED 500 to hold any appointment, and AED 1,000 for a full-day booking. The deposit is non-refundable but comes off the final price of the tattoo. It also covers the artist's drawing time, since custom designs are drawn before you sit.

What is the minimum age?

Eighteen, with no exceptions and no parental consent route. We check Emirates ID or passport at the door before the machine is switched on, so please bring it even if you have been in before. Anyone unable to produce ID loses the appointment and the deposit.

How does the design consultation work?

Consultations are free and take about thirty minutes, either in the studio or by video call. You bring references, placement ideas and your budget, and the artist tells you honestly what will and will not work on that part of the body. If you go ahead, we take the deposit and the drawing is ready for you to review a few days before the session.

Can you cover up or fix an existing tattoo?

Often, but not always. Cover-ups need a longer forty-five minute consultation with the existing piece seen in person and in daylight, because dark saturated work sometimes needs two or three laser fading sessions first. We will tell you if that is the case rather than talk you into a design that will not sit right.

Is the studio licensed and hygienic?

Ironleaf is licensed by Dubai Municipality and inspected annually. Every needle and tube is single-use and opened in front of you, and all reusable equipment is autoclaved with spore-test records kept on file. Both artists hold current bloodborne pathogen certification.

How should I prepare for the session?

Eat properly beforehand, sleep well, and drink water through the day. No alcohol for 24 hours before, and no tattooing over sunburnt or broken skin, so keep the area out of the sun in the week before. Wear clothing that gives easy access to the placement area.

What is the aftercare and is a touch-up included?

The area is wrapped in a protective film that stays on for three to five days, then you wash gently twice daily and apply a thin layer of unscented balm for two weeks. Avoid pools, the sea, the gym and direct sun until it has fully healed. One touch-up within three months is free.

What happens if I need to reschedule?

Move the appointment more than 72 hours ahead and the deposit carries over once, at no cost. Inside 72 hours, or if you do not show up, the deposit is lost and a new one is needed to rebook. The studio is appointment-only, Tuesday to Sunday, and we close on Mondays.
